I wonder as my eyes pry,
over what seems to be an eternal watch.
There lies that work of enticement,
watching my every movement,
paying attention to every word.
A sense of restlessness, a desperate urge,
yet controlled, as the body moves,
a distraction? a natural tendency?
I watched, fantasizing what shall never come.
Hoping for a contrary movement.
Disappointed in a wish unfulfilled.
I wonder as my body lay restless,
what lies in that mind of enticement.
The fear of destruction or,
the wait to conquer?
A question unanswered.
A thought left best alone.
