I made him cry

Have you ever had an eight year old as a friend? I bet you did when you are eight or nine years old. But would you have one when you are twenty four? Most probably you won't but I definitely do. He is the most adorable and yet naughty eight year old I know. He loves distrubing me by stepping on my foot and tickling me. With him around my mother would say, "You know I have not only one eight year old monkey but also a big ape who is 24 years old" I love teasing that eight year old of mine. But today I did something wrong

I made him cry. He threw his tantrum at me.

Nothing new but the usual teasing except I think this time I told him I don't friend him. His face changed. The hurt was seen in his eyes and temper flew. He kept quiet and refused to listen to my mother. My mother blames me for starting it all. But I know the next time he comes for lesson if I start playing with him he will go back to his normal self. That is the beauty of being a kid. You forget and go on living.

But that makes me wonder how come when we are adults we actual forget that simple rule? When there is a misunderstanding why can't we just forget about it and move on? Why can't people just apology and come together again? Why can't the other accept an apology from the other party and move on? Why do we make our own lives more complicated than it seems? Why this stupid game? I suppose that's what happens when we lose our neurons and those that are already there get strengthen. Sometimes I wish we can get past that adult stage and be a child again. I think the term childish should not be called childish when the most incomprehensible and stubborn behavior is done by adults. SO STOP GROWING UP

Reflections of 2008

One eventful year came and went. Plenty of hicupps here and there, mistakes made, lessons learnt and not learnt. Heart broken, rough batches and tears shed that could fill an entire lake. Of course not forgetting the game of hide and seek lovers play, the teasing and reading between the line, the peak of an excellent performance and the down fall of the worst. So many and yet much more to come. 10 Things that I learn.

1) A great influencer is a person who has the natural ability to entice people and to gain their trust without even trying
2) When you love a egoist, learn to adapt to situations that sometimes drive you to fantasy about killing them
3) Always take things with not a small peck of salt, but in today's day and age a huge sack of salt
4) Never wish you were GOD
5) Try something new but take your time to analyse if it is good or not
6) When you are in the zone, don't forget to put in an attendance
7)Remember the mind is a mighty tool. Use it wisely
8)Take time to get to know your family and friends. You will be surprise with what you don't know about them
9) Learn to read signs though its the most fustrated things to make sense of
10) Remember life is too short so make it as dramatic as you can ( mine definitel is)

Now with this let's see how 2009 is going to turn out
