A Tale of Two (part III)

The princess was really mad at what had happened. She had just made a fool of herself in front of the Dragon and the stranger. Who the hell was he? A total flirt and she bet he was enjoying every minute of her looking stupid. She stormed off to her castle, mumbling under her breathe. But somewhere at the back of her head she cannot but help thinking how attracted she was to Talyer the blacksmith. It was not just his good looks but his slience that intrigued her alot and she wanted to know what he was thinking. She paused. What was wrong with her? Why was she so bothered with this balcksmith? Maybe because she was looking for a distraction from the stranger friend of hers and Talyor had arrived at the wrong place at the wrong time according to her.

When she got back to the castle she was surprised to see her servant maid running to her to announce that there was a guest from the groom side who had arrived to see her. The princess sighed and rushed up to her room to clean up. Once she was done she quickly hurried to the library where the guest was already waiting to see her.

As she opened the library door she was confused to see that there was no one in the room. She walked towards when suddenly the door closed behind her. She turned and to her horror, standing infront of her was Talyor. He smiled at her and gave a bow. The princess started to reprimand him for surprising her and wanted an explanation how he dared to enter her house without her permission. Before he could answer, there was a knockon the door and her mother entered asking her wat the commotion was all about. She suddenly stood short and greeted Taylor. What took the princess by surprise when her mother addressed him as Lord Talyor. She was puzzled. Her mother reading her expression explained that Lord Talyor was a nobleman and a friend of the grooms. And since the groom had to leave on urgent matters he was asked to come down to see that the wedding preparations were going well on behalf of his friend. The princess jaw dropped. The queen then lead him to have tea and to discuss matters of great importance and Talyor gave the princess a nod and guided the queen down the hallway. The princess stood there dumbfounded.
